Savannah Kittens A6 What are you doing?
I spend so much time with all my savannahs it’s very difficult for them to get away with something, however once in a while they slip past me. Example, Story really hates it when I turn on the vacuum and I do that everyday. You would think she would be used to it after hearing for years. We have a pattern we follow, I open the door to the bathroom (Again there’s that bathroom) We probably have more action in our bathroom than any other place in the house! But anyway, back to the story of Story. I open the door, she runs in the bathroom, I close it then it is safe to vacuum. No matter how much I think I have the bathroom secure, she always finds a way to get into something.

I put her in there for maybe 5 minutes, do my job, go back open the door and what do I see? An entire roll of toilet paper shredded. Well that’s ok, I am used to that no big deal. I say ok Story time to go back to your room. I open the door and she bolts from there, poofing her tail as she passes the vacuum as if to say, yea! I showed you didn’t I?
I begin to pick up the toilet paper and I feel something hard in it. I lift the paper and there is my toothbrush, oh no! She climbed on the sink reached up and got my toothbrush. Well I have used to that as I have purchased many since she came here. I continue to clean and again I feel something, oh she got 3 of my scrunchies for my hair from my make-up box. Ok, no big deal they are a little wet and chewed but still useable. Again I start to pick it up and again there is something in it, oh look it’s my bath sponge, she jumped in the tub and grabbed my bath sponge, well that’s a question, do I still want to use that? Hum, ok sure it’s just a little Story spit! and maybe rolled around the floor and maybe a little litter box dust and maybe, um ok, I guess I will throw that away.
As I continue my Easter egg hunt, I just keep uncovering items she went around the bathroom and collected. I found everything from may hair brush to my bra that day. All in 5 minutes time. Ladies, a woman’s under wire bra does NOT fair well with a Savannah cats. She always makes me giggle because when she is caught, she innocently meows and acts all nice to you.
I continue on and clean up the mess. Needless to say she is off somewhere else probably making another one. I just love this girl. When I am all finished, I walk downstairs and the picture below is what I find… I guess all the fun must have worn the poor girl out.
